Fogo Island braided rug project part I (mint green)





Here's the second braided rug I made while on Fogo Island.
This one is made from two 2nd hand pillow cases + cotton fabric from the local store.

    Yes, I was so pleased to find exactly the right colour green in the wee store across the road and mix it in to bring more air (it think that's a term I heard you use, and I liked it) to the pattern as, in this case, it was quite full on. I wish I could have made this one bigger but I bought all the mint green fabric they had.
    I used the last wee scraps of this in my patchwork blanket too.
