hand sewn patchwork blanket from 2nd hand fabric

the patchwork blanket I've been sewing for my mother is finally finished and on her bed (complete with cat traces)

    I would be more than happy to have that on my bed - you did a wonderful piece of work. So poetic! It looks like a wild flower field I dream of. It´s like a painting.

    Yes! I had such fun selecting all the fabric, many stories in those wee flowers.
