As in the previous urn, I was reminded of how fog
and clouds are represented in old Japanese drawings and water colours,
but this time I used the embroidery right side up.

I preferred the back side of the embroidery, it reminded me of how fog and clouds are represented in old Japanese drawings and water colours, so I reversed the fabric and used up almost every little scrap of embroidery-
This is a machine sewn one-off quilt prototype inspired by an old Scandinavian embroidery pattern made from second hand cotton tablecloths and bed sheets.

8 (used) moving boxes, 1 woolen blanket, 1 acrylic blanket, 6 x cotton bed sheets,
2 x hospital bed sheets + tape, sewingthread (all textiles are second-hand)
I made this boat in my tiny one bedroom flat, so had to use Photoshop to get rid of all my furniture etc.
