Fogo Island braided rug project part I (canvas)

Here's braided rug sample no. 9 made while on Fogo Island.
Kym Greeley and I designed and screen printed the cotton fabric in St. John's; the pattern is based on old wall paper designs from Fogo Island. This one is only pinned together too.
